Sara Weinstein is a Senior Project Officer in the Health Programs Group (HPG) at MSH. Her portfolio includes program management support to a number of donor-funded programs in Nigeria, Liberia and Latin America. Sara has been with MSH since 2009 and is currently based in Guatemala City. Prior to joining MSH, Sara spent four years working with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in Bolivia implementing programs in the areas of health, democracy promotion, youth development and water and sanitation, and three years in Guatemala as the Deputy Regional Director for Management Quality for the Latin America region. Before working overseas, Sara worked for several international organizations in Washington, DC, including the Institute of International Education and Population Services International. Her first foray into public service was as a Volunteer in Service to America (VISTA) in San Antonio, Texas. Sara has a Master’s Degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and an Undergraduate Degree from Rutgers University. She is fluent in Spanish and has a basic knowledge of French and Portuguese.
