As Communications Manager for USAID's Organized Network of Services for Everyone's Health (ONSE) Activity, Rejoice provides leadership and direction for the project's communications activities, partnering with ONSE leadership and technical staff to develop messages, capture stories, and produce materials that promote visibility, convey achievements to target audiences, and contribute to project success.
Rejoice brings over 13 years of experience in various facets of public relations, advocacy, and communications. Her strengths lie in media relations, marketing communications, community relations, human rights advocacy, and general community service. She has experience in the strategic planning and execution of internal and external communications activities including events, advocacy, branding, and public speaking. Before joining MSH, Rejoice worked for Plan International Malawi as the Influencing, Advocacy, and Communications Manager for 8 years. She successfully led the implementation of Plan’s communications strategy and its influencing, lobbying, and advocacy initiatives. She has built and maintained successful partnerships and alliances to advance human rights and community empowerment and has also worked as a program manager, producer, researcher, and journalist for Trans World Radio International. She holds a BA in Biblical studies with Minor in Mass Communication, a Masters in Business Administration, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Media Management among other communications-related certificates.
