Ndinda Kusu, BPharm, MSc, MPH, is a deputy project director at Management Science for Health/Health Commodities and Services Management (MSH/HCSM) program based in Nairobi, Kenya. She has over 15 years experience in pharmaceutical care and 10 years experience in human and institutional capacity development: developing policies, guidelines and standard operating procedures; curricula, tools, conducting pre-service, in-service and on-the-job trainings and implementing continuous professional development.
Prior to joining MSH in 2004, Dr Kusu worked as a consultant clinical pharmacist in Rwanda and Kenya. Her technical area of expertise is health system strengthening including strengthening pharmaceutical systems; policy and governance; human and institutional capacity development. She has worked with the Kenya Medicines Regulatory Authority in strengthening pharmaceutical legislation, quality assurance and pharmacovigilance. Kusu has a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and masters degrees in clinical pharmacy and public health.
