Ali Bwala is an experienced monitoring, evaluation, and learning specialist with more than 12 years’ experience in the design and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems for public health (including HIV and AIDS, malaria, and MNCH); education; and economic empowerment programs and projects in Nigeria. He has expertise in strategic planning, management information systems design and implementation, research design and implementation, data quality assurance, and data analysis and interpretation, as well as in M&E systems strengthening, team building, and stakeholder management.
Prior to joining MSH, Mr. Bwala worked with local and international NGOs, where he provided strategic leadership to organizational M&E system development and participated in and contributed to strengthening Nigeria’s M&E systems. He has extensive knowledge of the workings of M&E systems and operations at different levels in Nigeria. Mr. Bwala will apply this wealth of experience to develop and implement an effective monitoring, evaluation, and learning system to facilitate result-based performance measurement and reporting on project deliverables, targets, and objectives.
