MSH engages in global malaria policy dialogue and supports international initiatives, including the Roll Back Malaria Partnership (RBM), the Global Fund, and the President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI). As a global leader in strengthening drug supply chains and facilitating rational medicine use, MSH works to ensure access to life-saving medicines and diagnostics at the facility and community levels and that health providers at all levels of the health system have the skills to effectively diagnose and treat the disease. Our projects take a holistic approach to building capacity for malaria prevention and control: we integrate training in leadership, management, and governance, along with health systems strengthening, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and commodity management into a seamless program.
Our work has helped to:
Implement malaria programs in five countries in Africa
Support innovative strategies to expand coverage of malaria in pregnancy (MIP) services to communities
Support efforts to improve the quality of malaria case management services
