MSH Announces New Director for International Project Development

CAMBRIDGE, MA (JANUARY 28, 2008) — Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is pleased to announce Abul Hashem as the new Director for International Project Development in the office of Business Resource Development (BRD). Mr. Hashem will focus primarily on developing new business for MSH, but is also looking to diversify project funding and MSH’s corporate portfolio as a whole. With over 30 years experience in the development and management of international public health programs, Mr. Hashem has successfully managed many USAID-funded programs and designed large-scale programs working closely with governments, NGOs, and the private sector in more than 30 countries. He has made significant contributions towards program sustainability, institution and capacity-building, and personnel training, mentoring, and knowledge management. Mr. Hashem's previous experience includes business development and program management for John Snow, Inc., Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and the UN Population Fund. He received his master's degree from the University of Chittagong and postgraduate training at the University of Connecticut.
