Dr. Peter Mugyenyi receives the coveted Hero in Medicine Award

BOSTON, MA — Management Sciences for Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Peter Mugyenyi as Principal Program Officer in its HIV/TB Unit.A world leader in the fight against HIV/AIDS, Dr. Mugyenyi's professional experience spans more than 20 years and includes work in The United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Uganda and other countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.Since 1992, Dr. Mugyenyi has served as the Executive Director of the Joint Clinical Research Centre (JCRC), a model center that has played a major role in the highly successful Uganda AIDS Control program.

The Lancet editorial referenced the successful assessment of health resources in Afghanistan that was led by Boston-based Management Sciences for Health (MSH).
