MSH Receives Public-Private Funding To Strengthen Health Service Delivery In Latin America

Management Sciences for Health (MSH) recently was awarded a second round of funding for the Salud Mesoamerica project from a consortium that includes the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Carlos Slim Health Institute, and the Spanish Government, to address gaps in access to health services in eight countries in Latin America. Over the next twelve months, MSH will provide technical assistance to the Governments of Chiapas (Mexico), Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua as they work toward meeting national MNCH and family planning goals. MSH will support these governments to increase access to quality integrated health services for the poorest 20 percent of women and children.
