MSH Publishes Six Articles on Human Resources for Health

The Center for Leadership and Management and the Office of Communications and Knowledge Exchange are pleased to announce the launch of a six-article series in collaboration with the journal of Human Resources for Health. This series on public health leadership and management was developed and coordinated by Mary O’Neil, who is also a member of the journal’s editorial board. In his opening editorial for the series, Dr. Manuel M. Dayrit, Director of the WHO Department of Human Resources for Health and former Minister of Health for the Philippines, writes that the articles “highlight the need for professional leaders and managers, at all levels of the health system, who are prepared to address critical gaps in human resources for health.” Dayrit outlines how the articles illustrate MSH’s approach and lessons in this area, showcasing tools and strategies that have been successfully applied in Uganda, Mozambique, and Kenya.
