Yared Tadesse, MD
Senior Clinical Advisor for Pediatric Tuberculosis
Yared Tadesse, MD, is a medical doctor specializing in pediatrics and child health. He has nearly two decades of experience as a clinician and program management in the area of HIV/AIDS and TB. Currently, he is the senior pediatric clinical advisor for Help Ethiopia Address Low TB Performance (HEAL TB) project, a US Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded project implemented by MSH in the Amhara and Oromia regions of Ethiopia, providing technical support to the Federal Ministry of Health, including the regional health bureaus and health facilities. Yared also represents HEAL TB at national and regional technical meetings. He prepares training materials for health workers on pediatric TB, and provides continuing medical education for health workers supported by HEAL TB. Yared holds an MD from Gondar College of Medical Sciences and a specialty in pediatrics and child health from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.
