Suleiman Toranke Ibrahim is the state team leader for the Prevention Organizational System for the HIV/AIDS Care Treatment and Support (ProACT) project in Sokoto State, Nigeria. A public health physician, Suleiman has more than 10 years of experience in HIV and AIDS in resource-limited countries. Previously, he worked as a zonal HIV/AIDS program supervisor for the Ministry of Health and Population in Malawi, providing technical support to 155 sites for antiretroviral therapy and mother-to-child transmission prevention. In his current position, Suleiman took the lead in developing and operationalizing Sokoto State's integrated ProACT project plan. He holds a master of public health from AIIAS, Philippines, and a medical degree from Usmanu Danfodiyo University in Nigeria.
