Serge Xueref is the senior principal technical advisor for monitoring, evaluation, and communications for the MSH project in Gabon (PARSSG). A public health professional with multidisciplinary knowledge, Serge has experience fighting against communicable diseases at global level and working in local health facilities and national governments in Africa. In his current role in Gabon, Serge works to strengthen national health information system and set up national performance-based funding. Prior to his work with MSH, Serge managed the evaluation unit of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria. He has also worked WHO, PAHO, and PEPFAR, and he has worked in Switzerland, the US, Nigeria, Madagascar, and France. He holds a doctorate in medical microbiology/pharmacy, and a PhD in public health from the University of Lyon, France.
