Rigobert Mpendwanzi is the principal technical advisor for the Leadership, Management and Governance (LMG) Project in Haiti. A health financing expert, he has more than 20 years of experience in health systems management, including 10 years of experience in the design and implementation of the Results Based Financing (RBF) programs. He played a key role in the successful "Performance Based Financing" program implemented in Rwanda. Previously, he worked for the World Bank Group, where he supported the ministry of public health in Burundi in the same field. Rigobert also provided technical support to the design of the RBF project pilot in the Atsimo-Andrefana region of Madagascar with UNICEF in 2014. He holds a master's degree in public health from the School of Public Health of the National University of Rwanda.
