Raymond Byaruhanga is the project director for the MSH/TRACK TB project in Uganda. A medical doctor with over 15 years of experience in HIV and tuberculosis management, he has both international and in-country experience. In addition to his work with MSH, Raymond also chairs the Uganda Medical Association welfare scheme. Previously, he practiced medicine in rural Uganda, where he was in charge of diagnosis and treatment of tropical diseases and also served as an obstetrician and surgeon. He also worked as the executive director of the largest HIV counseling and testing organization in sub-Saharan Africa. Raymond holds a master's degree in health services management from Uganda Martyrs' University, and he is the vice chair of the HIV Civil Society Fund, which has funded more than 200 NGOs in HIV services.
