Olivia du Moulin

Olivia Du Moulin returned to SCMS in March 2014 after two and half years as project director for the Catholic Medical Mission Board (CMMB)’s AIDS project, SIDALE, which she joined in November 2011. Olivia had initially joined the SCMS team in February 2010 as Lab Advisor, after three and a half years at Catholic Relief Services (CRS).
A French citizen, Olivia Du Moulin first came to Haiti in 2003 as a volunteer to work in the HIV/AIDS program at GHESKIO, a leading research and treatment center for Kaposi’s sarcoma and opportunistic diseases. After having earned a degree in Hospital Pharmacy in 2005 at the University of Pharmaceutical and Biological Sciences, in Lille (France), she made the decision to settle in Haiti where she primarily worked in HIV / AIDS projects. Olivia has also been teaching pharmacology at the State University of Haiti, School of Medicine and Pharmacy since 2006.
Olivia lives in Haiti with her husband, and her two small boys. She loves cooking, traveling and spending time with her family. Olivia also loves sports, reading and good French films. She loves Haiti and plans to grow old on this beautiful tropical island. Nevertheless, Olivia dreams of other opportunities to work in African countries.
