Nyansinde Doreen Mungurere
Finance and Business Manager
Nyansinde Doreen Mungurere, finance and business manager for the Tanzania Technical Support Project (TSSP), has over 13 years of experience in accounting and financial management in both local and international organizations in Tanzania and abroad. Prior joining MSH, Doreen worked at Catholic Relief Services (CRS) as country finance manager, managing projects such as LEAD (formerly known as AIDS Relief) and the Staples Value Chain Activity (NAFAKA); both funded by USAID; Soya Ni Pesa (SNP) funded by US Department of Agriculture, and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) funded by UNICEF.
In her role with CRS, she ensured proper management of assets and was responsible for preparation of donor financial and grant closure reports. She also provided other technical support and facilitated trainings for partners. Doreen led local partners to improve administrative functions such as human resources, finance, information technology, security, and fleet.
Throughout her career, Doreen has provided wide-ranging assistance to the local and private sectors in financial system assessments, budgeting, financial reporting, risk management, as well as performance and talent management.
She holds a Master of Business Administration from Henley Business School at University of Reading, UK, 2015; Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Houston, Texas, USA, 2006; and Diploma in Statistics, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She is fluent in Swahili and English.
