Principal Advisor, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research
Monita Baba Djara is the Senior Principal Advisor for Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research at MSH. Monita has more than 25 years of experience in health system strengthening, organizational development, and capacity building as a technical consultant, project/NGO executive director, and clinic and hospital administrator. She also has eight years of experience in academia, with a focus on program coordination, curriculum development, teaching, and research. In addition, she is a mental health practitioner with experience both in the United States and abroad. Monita has led teams in participatory evaluations of management and service delivery performance, program reviews, and performance measurement at all levels of the health care system. Monita holds an MA in marriage, family, and child psychotherapy and a doctorate in public health.
