Isabel Kazanga is the monitoring and evaluation lead for the District Health Performance Improvement (DHPI) project based in the MSH Malawi office. Kazanga brings to the project her expertise in health systems management and research, maternal and child health, equitable access to health care, bioethics, patient safety, and quality improvement. She is also a lecturer in the health systems and policy department at the University of Malawi's College of Medicine. Isabel holds a PhD in global health from Trinity College and a joint master's degree in health systems from the University of Verona, University of Deusto, Corvinus University of Budapest, and Vilnius University. She also has a bachelor of science in nursing and a university certificate in midwifery from the University of Malawi Kamuzu College of Nursing. She is fluent in English and Chichewa.
