Gail Bryan, MPharm, is a registered, practicing pharmacist with a Master of Pharmacy degree from the Sofia Medical University in Bulgaria. Currently, she serves as the Project Director for MSH’s Zambia Prevention Care and Treatment (ZPCT II) project. She has 18 years of experience as a pharmacist, 11 of which she worked in the public sector and 7 in the private sector. Prior to her work on ZPCT II, she was a consultant for MSH’s Rational Pharmaceutical Management Plus (RPMPlus) program. In this role, Ms. Bryan was instrumental in developing pharmaceutical staff training material on antiretrovirals, medical supplies, and commodity management for Zambia’s Antiretroviral Programme. She also helped develop national standard operating procedures for antiretroviral therapy pharmaceutical services, which Zambia’s Ministry of Health adopted. From 2000 to 2002, Ms. Bryan served as Vice President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Zambia. In 2012, the Pharmaceutical Society of Zambia awarded Gail a certificate of special recognition for over a decade of outstanding contributions to Zambia’s Antiretroviral Programme.
