Denis Sama has 10 years of experience in management, monitoring, and evaluation of health programs in Uganda. He has worked with PEPFAR/USAID, the European Union, and UNHCR to meet monitoring, evaluation, and reporting requirements. In his current position with TRACK TB, he coordinates institutionalization and application of Lot Quality Assurance Sampling, health facility assessment, and service performance and improvement initiatives in 12 districts. He also develops and updates comprehensive M&E systems and tools for implementing partner organizations. Prior to working with TRACK TB, he served as monitoring and evaluation (M&E) advisor for the USAID/MSH STAR-E project. Before joining MSH, Denis was an organizational learning, monitoring and evaluation technical officer for the GOAL project in northern Uganda. Denis holds an MPH at the University of the Western Cape in Bellville, South Africa.
