Catherine Severo is a health economist and directs the Grant Management Solutions project financed by the US Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator. The project provides technical assistance to the 140 countries benefiting from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria. Catherine has worked in public health in more than 25 countries in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. She has also staffed or invented three funding mechanisms making grants to civil society and government institutions. Since 2000, her work has been dedicated to scaling up multi-sectoral implementation, governance, and performance-based accountability for public health. Catherine holds an MPH from Université de Paris-Sorbonne.
