Senior Technical Manager
Benjamin is a senior technical manager with the Supply Chain Management System project, and he has worked for MSH in Namibia since 2008. He is a pharmacist with more than 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply management, and he provides technical assistance to the country's Ministry of Health and Social Services in order to help the department improve budgeting, planning, inventory management, and other systems.
Benjamin has been instrumental in establishing a routine logistics management and information system for antiretroviral medicines, which has contributed to universal availability of ART in Namibia. Benjamin loves to work with data and is especially adept at manipulating large data arrays in Microsoft Excel. His major interests are in supply chain data visibility and using key indicators to drive supply chain performance. Previously, Benjamin worked for five years at the Mater Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya. Benjamin holds a bachelor of pharmacy from the University of Nairobi and a master of logistics and supply chain management from the Polytechnic of Namibia.
