Andualem Oumer is the senior technical advisor for the the Systems for Improved Access to Pharmaceuticals and Service (SIAPS) project, based in Arlington, Virginia. In his current role, he sets the standards, and provides oversight and support for forecasting, supply planning, procurement and information management activities. With more than 13 years of experience, he works across a range of health areas including HIV and AIDS, TB, malaria, family planning, and maternal and child health.
Previously, Andualem served as quantification advisor for the Supply Chain Management System project, based in both Arlington, Virginia and in Ethiopia. He has worked with ministries and partner organizations in more than 20 countries across Africa and Asia. He has also helped design tools for information management, monitoring and evaluation, quantification, and procurement. He holds a bachelor of pharmacy from Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia.
