Adolphe Kamugunga, technical advisor for the Rwanda Health System Strengthening Project, has more than seven years of experience with health data reporting and management, strategic planning, and health information system strengthening. In his current role, Adolphe has worked to upgrade the health information system at Rwanda's Ministry of Health. He has played a key role in introducing electronic-based reporting systems tracking TB and leprosy patients countrywide, and in setting up a disease surveillance system. He has also helped develop strategic documents for the health sector.
Adolphe holds a master of medical sciences from University of Kwazulu Natal, South Africa and a bachelor of science in computer science from the National University of Rwanda. He is currently pursuing a master of sciences in monitoring and evaluation from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. He speaks French and English.
