Abraham Ayuen is a communications specialist with a passion for giving the most vulnerable and marginalized members of society a voice through stories. Born in Bor South Sudan shortly before the outbreak of war in Sudan, Ayuen grew up in exile in Ethiopia, Uganda and Kenya. He returned to South Sudan in 2008 following the 2005 peace deal that ended the Sudan's civil war.
In November 2015, Ayuen joined MSH as a senior communications specialist, where he communicates the impact of MSH's health interventions in South Sudan. Prior to joining MSH, Ayuen had worked for World Vision as a communications manager and AECOM as information officer in South Sudan. Ayuen completed his high school and college education in Kenya. He is currently pursuing a bachelor of arts in communications studies from Athabasca University in Canada.
