The Prevention Organizational Systems AIDS Care and Treatment Project (Pro-ACT) is a PEPFAR-funded associate award with the goal of building the capacity of Nigeria's public, private, and community sectors for sustainable HIV and AIDS and Tuberculosis (TB) prevention, control, and treatment. Between August 2009 and July 2013, Pro-ACT supported the governments of six states and operated 30 comprehensive HIV and AIDS treatment centers.
The District Health System Strengthening and Quality Improvement for Service Delivery in Malawi (DHSS) Project supports Malawi's Ministry of Health in its implementation of both the national strategic plan for HIV and AIDS and the health sector strategic plan. The project, which is funded by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), aims to strengthen health service delivery in seven districts.
