American Public Health Association (APHA)
The American Public Health Association (APHA) is the oldest and largest organization of public health professionals in the world, representing more than 50,000 members from over 50 occupations of public health.
APHA has been influencing policies and setting priorities in public health for over 125 years. Throughout its history it has been in the forefront of numerous efforts to prevent disease and promote health.
SEAM has contributed to various APHA annual conferences since the program's inception in 2000. The focus of SEAM's contribution to these conferences has been on access to medicines. Below are the proceedings from the APHA conference in Philadelphia in 2002.

International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP)
The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) is the global federation of national organizations of pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists dedicated to improving the access to and value of appropriate medicine use, and contributing to changes in science, practice and health policies worldwide.
SEAM has contributed to various FIP annual conferences over the past five years, focusing on issues related to access to medicines. Below are the proceedings from three of the conferences — Nice in 2002, New Orleans in 2004, and Cairo in 2005.
FIP/Nice
The 2002 Annual Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences "FIP's 62nd World Congress" took place in Nice, France from 31 August to 5 September, focusing on the theme of Safe Systems - Safe Treatment - Safe Patients.

FIP/New Orleans
This was the theme for the 64th Congress of FIP, held in New Orleans, USA, from 4 to 9 September, 2004. Two thousand pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists from 95 countries attended. Because the FIP Pharmaceutical Sciences World Congress, with an attendance of 2,200, had been held so recently (29 May to 3 June in Kyoto, Japan), the programme for the New Orleans Congress was more than normally focused on pharmacy practice. The theme of this conference was The Patient and the Pharmacist—The Heart of the New Healthcare Team.

FIP/Cairo
From 2 – 8 September, 2005, stakeholders from all over the world gathered in Cairo, Egypt to attend the 65th annual FIP conference. The theme of the conference focused on access to medicines.

International Conferences on Improving Use of Medicines (ICIUM)
From March 30 to April 2, 2004, 472 leading multidisciplinary researchers, national and international policy makers, patient advocates, and clinicians representing 70 countries gathered in Chiang Mai, Thailand, for the Second International Conference on Improving Use of Medicines (ICIUM 2004).
