Initiatives Program: Final Report 1987-1997
The Local Initiatives Program was a highly successful project in which MSH assisted the Bangladesh Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in improving the performance of the Bangladesh Family Planning Program at the community level. This booklet describes the ten-year project, which trained over 36,000 female community volunteers to provide information, motivation, and selected reproductive health services.
