A lack of infrastructure, human resources, and ongoing violence have ravished the country’s health services.In fragile states such as South Sudan, Management Sciences for Health supports the development of sustainable health systems by building local leadership and management skills within the government and service organizations at all levels. The MSH approach is grounded in the principle that governments must lead development initiatives, and they must do so in partnership with nongovernmental organizations and the private sector.
