TB Workshop at 42nd Union Conference: Building and Empowering Partnerships to Strengthen TB Pharmaceutical and Laboratory Service Delivery

SPS in collaboration with the Stop TB's Global Drug Facility (GDF) will be holding a day long workshop at the 42nd Union World Conference on Lung Disease in Lille, France on Thursday October 27. The Building and Empowering Partnerships to Strengthen TB Pharmaceutical and Laboratory Service Delivery workshop will discuss how effective partnerships have promoted and built country capacities to provide pharmaceutical services and to address the threat of emerging drug resistance.

The objective of the workshop is to bring experiences and best practices of how public private partnerships improved medicine selection, procurement, distribution, quality assurance, rational use, pharmaceutical policies and regulations to the forefront. The workshop will also aim to provide an opportunity to share experiences of public private partnerships in addressing the development and spread of drug resistant tuberculosis.
