Management Sciences for Health, through its Center for Pharmaceutical Management, has a long working relationship with the Tanzania Ministry of Health and in particular the Tanzanian Food and Drugs Authority (TFDA). Much of the work RPM Plus is involved in today, e.g., expanding the Accredited Drug Dispensing Outlet (ADDO) initiative, fostering public-private partnerships, and strengthening quality assurance, has developed from initiatives started under the SEAM program (2000-2005), funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Current activities are funded with the support of the US Government including funding from the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief and the President's Malaria Initiative (PMI).
