Despite this, the majority of people working in health services that find themselves in management roles have had little or no preparation. By strengthening management systems and improving leadership at all levels, LMS improves the performance of health care organizations at all levels, develops human resources, and builds the capacity to anticipate and respond effectively to changing external environments.
