Leadership and Management Development
The
Leadership Development Program (LDP) and
Virtual Leadership Development Program (VLDP) both work to improve the management and leadership capacity of teams.
- VLDP has reached more than 800 teams from 60 countries, involving 2,500 participants total.
- Programs adapted and delivered in English, French, Nepali, Russian, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, and Swahili.
Business Planning
The
Business Planning for Health (BPH) and
Virtual Business Planning for Health (VBPH) programs, both available in Spanish and English, are designed to help organizations improve their ability to write compeling business plans to attract funding from a new stream of non-traditional donors, funders, and investors.
Strategic Planning
The
Virtual Strategic Planning Program (VSPP) is available in English and Spanish, and leads teams through the process of planning and developing a strategic plan.
- 20 teams from 11 countries (a total of 160 participants) have participated in the program.
- 17 teams completed and successfully implemented strategic plans.
Organizational Sustainability and Governance
The
Management and Organizational Sustainability Tool (MOST) is a structured process for improving an organization’s management systems, with the end result of contributing to improved services. It is available in English, French, and Spanish.
- More than 1,000 participants from over 50 organizations have completed the MOST process.
- The tool has also been downloaded an additional 400 times from the MSH Resource Center.
Financial and Grants Management
The
Rapid Funding Envelope (RFE) serves as a guide for program directors, managers, and business development staff, to design and manage a grant-making mechanism for small CSO's in any given country. In Tanzania, LMS has used the RFE to award 166 grants totaling US$22.1 million.
- 5,341 orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) received direct support, 912 received vocational training and job placement.
- 47,019 (26,801 females) individuals received HIV/AIDS counseling, testing, and received results.
- 3,155 commercial sex workers participated in HIV prevention programs.
