A Virtual Marketspace
Donors, development partners, and ministries of health around the world share a similar challenge: finding talented local organizations to support management and organizational capacity building for health at local, national and international scale. Launched in November 2003, the Technical Cooperation Network (TCNetwork) gives donors and governments easy access to the best local consultants from around the world through an online virtual marketspace.
What does TCNetwork do?
The TCNetwork consists of a group of international technical assistance providers from Africa, Asia, Eurasia, and Latin America working in support of better-managed health delivery systems in developing countries. Network members can access pre-screened consultants on the web site, post job announcements, and talk with leaders in public health management virtually and locally. Through its virtual marketplace, TCNetwork offers donors and clients a place to find experienced capacity development professionals working to solve the developing world's most pressing health challenges.
The TCNetwork's website offers a place for dialogue about and rapid dissemination of new ideas, professional exchange, and access to critical tools and approaches. TCNetwork members have come together to offer workshops, provide technical assistance, and collaborate on joint bids.
What does TCNetwork provide?
The TCNetwork increases accessibility for clients and donors to quality technical assistance provided by effective, well managed and locally owned members of this community. The Network’s purpose is to foster sustained improvement of health care services through management and leadership.
