Successful Start to Implementation of Action Plans in the Virtual Fostering Change Program for FP/MNCH Teams in Asia
Eight teams from Afghanistan, Indonesia, Jordan, and Nepal who participated in the first English offering of the VFCP concluded Part I of the program focused on developing action plans to introduce a best practice in public health.

Teams Successfully Complete the First Virtual NGO Board Governance for Family Planning and Reproductive Health Organizations
In May 2009, 7 NGO teams from Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Nigeria working in family planning and reproductive health successfully completed MSH’s first offering of the Virtual NGO Board Governance Program in English.

In late 2008, USAID/Afghanistan increased the Tech-Serve Project’s funding by US$19.9 million, bringing the total funding to $49.7 million for the four-year project.
