Ken Heise has more than 30 years of experience in the design, implementation, support, and evaluation of public health programs in Africa and has worked in over 23 countries. He is an experienced team leader, program manager, strategic thinker, and strong communicator. His extensive range of work experience includes positions as chief of party/resident advisor, management consultant, portfolio manager for large international health programs, family planning advisor with the US Agency for International Development (USAID), and community health organizer for the Peace Corps. Heise has successfully implemented activities funded by multiple donors and agencies, including the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, USAID, US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the World Bank, among others. He is also active in new business development for MSH. He is fluent in French and conversant in Swahili.
