Overcoming barriers to care: Research study to inform policy on care for survivors of sexual violence in Mali

Project Overview

In Mali, survivors of sexual violence continue to face daunting obstacles in accessing medical and psychosocial care and securing justice for the human rights violations they have endured. With support from Amplify Change, the FCI Program of MSH is investigating the barriers to survivors' access to post-rape care in the Mopti region of central Mali. Using findings from the study, the FCI Program of MSH will work with Debbo Alafia partner organizations to advocate with the Ministry of Health, policymakers and service providers to develop strategies that break down these barriers.
