Dr. Hector Colindres served as the regional coordinator for management and quality in the first phase of the Salud Mesoámerica Initiative and currently serves as regional advisor for continuous quality improvement in the second phase. He has provided technical assistance under many large-scale projects.
Dr. Oscar Cordon is the director of MSH's technical assistance to the Salud Mesoámerica Initiative. He also serves as country coordinator for Guatemala and is based in the project's regional office in Guatemala City. Oscar is a medical doctor with master's degrees in public health and education, and he has over 25 years of experience implementing international health programs focused on reproductive health and family planning, maternal and child health, nutrition/food security, malaria, HIV and AIDS, and tuberculosis.
