Thomas Hall is Senior Principal Technical Advisor for Malaria. In his role he manages all activities related to malaria including providing technical assistance and programmatic oversight to integrated health projects managed by MSH. Additionally, he participates in several international forums on malaria including RBM working groups and NGO advocacy networks.
Project Director and Infectious Disease Specialist
Dr. Rudi Thétard has more than 25 years in clinical and health management experience in Africa, 17 of them managing or leading complex donor programs. Rudi is the chief of party (COP) for ONSE Health. He was previously the project director for the US$20-million USAID-funded African Strategies for Health Project.
Erik Schouten, MSc, MD, has more than 15 years of international public health experience. His areas of expertise include HIV & AIDS, epidemic response, humanitarian assistance, and pharmaceutical management. He is currently the Project Director for MSH’s District Health System Strengthening and Quality Improvement for Service Delivery (DHSSI) project in Malawi.
Eliphace Mkumbo, BPharm, BBA, MBA, is a senior technical advisor for MSH’s Tibu Homa project in Tanzania. Mr. Mkumbo is a pharmacist with over 12 years of experience working in hospitals and the private sector.
Dr. Ghislaine L. Djidjoho has more than 12 years of experience in logistics and drug management, including seven years of experience managing and strengthening supply chains and information systems for health programs. She currently works as a senior technical advisor for MSH's Leadership, Management, and Governance project.
Kwabena Larbi is a malaria expert working as a senior technical advisor for the USAID/PMI-funded Leadership, Management, and Governance Project in Liberia. Initially trained as an environmental health professional, Kwabena has more than 20 years of experience in public health and malaria control. Kwabena recently provided technical and management support to Liberia’s national malaria control program to distribute more than 2.8 million mosquito nets during the Ebola outbreak.
Dr Pepin D. Miyigbena is a senior technical advisor for the Leadership, Management, and Governance project in Côte d'Ivoire, focusing on the National Malaria Control Program. Pepin is a physician specializing in occupational health, epidemiology, malariology, HIV and AIDS, and environmental health.
Dr. Youssoufa Lo was the first leadership, management and governance senior technical advisor to join the team of LMG / NMCP in Conakry, Guinea, in October 2013. Youssoufa brings to this position more than 20 years of experience in medicine, specializing in malariology and public health.
Dr. Jeanine Musau Dinanga has been with MSH since September 2012 and serves as senior malaria technical advisor for the Integrated Health Project DRC-IHP plus. A medical practitioner since 2005, she also has a master of public health from Kinshasa School of Public Health. She has worked in the Congolese Ministry of Health to support integrated management of the child diseases and malaria programs. Previously, Jeanine served as the head of the case management department and the head of the department for planning and partnership at the National Malaria Control program. She also worked to support the community-based Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses program.
Rigobert Mpendwanzi is the principal technical advisor for the Leadership, Management and Governance (LMG) Project in Haiti. A health financing expert, he has more than 20 years of experience in health systems management, including 10 years of experience in the design and implementation of the Results Based Financing (RBF) programs. He played a key role in the successful "Performance Based Financing" program implemented in Rwanda.
