Elke Konings has more than 20 years of experience designing and leading large-scale public health programs in developing countries, particularly in Africa. She has worked with MSH since 1998, and she has been a senior principal technical advisor since in 2012. In this role she contributes technical expertise in HIV and AIDS, infectious diseases, and maternal and child health to improve health outcomes in developing countries.
Allison Zakaliya is the M&E senior advisor for the District Health Systems Strengthening (DHSS) Project in Malawi. An expert in health Information software systems development, he has developed and supported M&E systems in Malawi for more than 15 years. His work has spanned several health areas, including HIV and AIDS, nutrition, systems strengthening, and health service delivery.
Mohammad Kibria has more than 11 years of experience leading, planning, designing, implementing and evaluating health information systems (HIS), including integrating HIS into mainstream country systems and enhancing data use for improving service and system performance.
Walter "Bud" Crandall has worked for eight years as an MSH chief of party for PEPFAR-funded USAID HIV programs, first in Ethiopia with the HIV/AIDS Care and Support Program (HCSP) and then the Ethiopia Network for HIV/AIDS Treatment, Care, and Support (ENHAT-CS) Program.
Erik Schouten, MSc, MD, has more than 15 years of international public health experience. His areas of expertise include HIV & AIDS, epidemic response, humanitarian assistance, and pharmaceutical management. He is currently the Project Director for MSH’s District Health System Strengthening and Quality Improvement for Service Delivery (DHSSI) project in Malawi.

Ummuro Adano, a native of Northern Kenya, works for Management Sciences for Health as Principal Technical Advisor in the Center for Leadership and Management and Global Technical Lead, Human Resources for Health.
Sjoerd Postma is an internationally recognized expert in public health, systems, and institutional strengthening. With more than 25 years of experience, including 18 years in leadership positions, Sjoerd has focused on health systems strengthening and health sector development and reform, with an emphasis on primary health care and decentralization. His experience covers policy development, legislation, health service management, and planning and implementation of health programs at the national, intermediate, and operational levels in the public and nongovernmental sectors.
Adolphe Kamugunga, technical advisor for the Rwanda Health System Strengthening Project, has more than seven years of experience with health data reporting and management, strategic planning, and health information system strengthening. In his current role, Adolphe has worked to upgrade the health information system at Rwanda's Ministry of Health.
