Business Development Director, Health Programs Group
Bertra McGann is the director of business development for the Health Programs Group at MSH. Previously, Bertra worked as director of business development at Management Sciences for Development, a woman-owned for-profit organization working to strengthen democracy, governance, and human rights in Latin America, the Middle East and Asia. She expanded the organization's portfolio to the Middle East and Asia and secured the firm's first regional award.
Mohammad Khakerah Rashidi has more than 20 years of experience in public health in Afghanistan and is responsible for developing the country's strategic roadmap for MSH. He provides technical leadership and strategic guidance on all TB-related projects, and develops and maintains partnerships at the national level.
Berhanemeskal Assefa brings more than 30 years of clinical and managerial experience in medicine and public health, much of it in TB and TB/HIV. He serves as principal advisor on TB and as project director supervisor for both the Challenge TB project in South Sudan and for the Track TB project in Uganda. In his role as MSH's principal advisor on TB for Africa and Asia, Berhanemeskal has supported USAID TB CARE I projects as well as the USAID bilateral project, Heal TB.
Addisu Liben is a pharmacist with over 16 years of experience in pharmaceuticals supply management ranging from the facility level to the national level. He currently supports activities related to DSM in general and TB commodities and supplies management for the Challenge TB project. He also provides technical assistance to Federal Ministry of Health, Pharmaceutical Fund and Supply Agency, Regional Health Bureaus and other partners.
