David Collins is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience in international health and development projects, including working as resident health finance advisor to the Ministries of Health of Kenya and South Africa. He works for Management Sciences for Health in health financing and teaches health finance at Boston University.
Berhanemeskal Assefa brings more than 30 years of clinical and managerial experience in medicine and public health, much of it in TB and TB/HIV. He serves as principal advisor on TB and as project director supervisor for both the Challenge TB project in South Sudan and for the Track TB project in Uganda. In his role as MSH's principal advisor on TB for Africa and Asia, Berhanemeskal has supported USAID TB CARE I projects as well as the USAID bilateral project, Heal TB.
As deputy director of project quality assurance and coordination, Maryellen Glennon leads the home office support teams for projects in Uganda, Nigeria, Rwanda, Cameroon, Zambia, South Africa, and Tanzania. A senior manager, she also oversees MSH's projects in Malawi funded by the CDC, UNICEF, and the Children's Investment Fund Foundation. For 25 years Maryellen has held leadership positions utilizing her expertise in program management, leadership development, capacity-building, evaluation, and documentation of systems and procedures.
Abel Nkolo is a Senior TB Technical Advisor for Africa, supporting tuberculosis (TB) interventions in several African countries that include Uganda, South Sudan, DR Congo, Ethiopia and Nigeria. He is a medical doctor with a Masters in Public Health and over 12 years of experience in TB control. Abel joined MSH in July 2013....
Principal Technical Advisor for Laboratory Services
Catherine Mundy, MSH's principal technical advisor for laboratory services, is responsible for providing the leadership to develop and implement MSH's expertise for strengthening laboratory systems and services to support HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, maternal and child health, commodity management and global health security programs in developing countries.
