February 21, 2006. Cambridge, MA: Many thanks to those who purchased copies of the Gadue-Niebling-Urdaneta Memorial Fund Calendar. Through the sales and distribution of the calendar, MSH has been able to share some of the experiences of Cristi, Amy, and Carmen with an even wider audience than before.

In keeping with the spirit of the 2006 calendar, at the end of this year, MSH plans to produce a 2007 calendar highlighting the work of young professionals who are continuing the work about which Cristi, Amy, and Carmen were so passionate.

Donations can continue to be made to the Gadue-Niebling-Urdaneta Memorial Fund.

Gadue-Niebling-Urdaneta Memorial Fund Calendar

December 7, 2005. Cambridge, MA: This 2006 calendar was created to honor the lives of Cristin Gadue, Amy Lynn Niebling, and Carmen Urdaneta—three extraordinary women who lost their lives in a plane crash in Afghanistan on February 3, 2005, while on assignment for Management Sciences for Health. The public health community is deeply saddened by this loss, yet continues to be inspired by the contributions of these remarkable young women.

This beautiful calendar features photographs taken by Amy Lynn Niebling and Carmen Urdaneta on their trip to Afghanistan and excerpts of letters sent home from Cristin Gadue. Proceeds from the sale of this calendar will go to the Gadue-Niebling-Urdaneta Memorial Fund in honor of Amy, Cristi, and Carmen.
