Home: News Room: Events: MSH at World Bank MSH Program Associate presents at World Bank on Performance-Based Financing February 5, 2007 Jean Kagubare, MSH Senior Program Associate on HIV/AIDS, has been invited to present at the "Health Systems for Outcomes" series sponsored by World Bank's Africa Human Resources for Health Team and the Africa Health Service Delivery Team. His discussion will focus on performance-based financing in Rwanda. Performance-based finance (PBF) is a method of healthcare services management which seeks to increase the volume and quality of healthcare services provided to the population. In 2001, Rwanda's Ministry of Health piloted PBF schemes in 3 provinces to increase quantity, quality and efficiency of health services. Dr. Kagubare will address these efforts in his presentation.
