MSH Staff contributes to report on Revising Indonesia’s Public Health Laws

BOSTON, MA (JANUARY 12, 2004) — Management Sciences for Health’s (MSH) Ritta-Liisa Kolehmainen-Aitken and MSH Consultant, Liz Newby, contributed to the recent report, "The Content and Uses of Health Laws: An Overview of Selected International Models and Lessons Learned for Possible Application in Indonesia." Additional authors include Chandrawilla Supriadi and Broto Wasisto.

The report consists of a review of the use of health laws in Australia, Finland, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, the Philippines, Spain, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The report was commissioned by Indonesia officials in response to an initiative from the Indonesian Parliament to revise the nation's health laws.
