MSH Appoints New Sr. Director for Health Systems Innovation and Strategy, Dr. Olivier Raynaud

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Olivier Raynaud has joined MSH as the Sr. Director for Health Systems Innovation & Strategy.

"Olivier's role is to boost MSH's innovation strategy, helping to firmly place MSH as a leader in the area of scalable, sustainable health systems innovations," said Dr. Jonathan D. Quick, President & CEO of MSH.

Raynaud is a Medical Doctor (University of Lyon) with specialization in Tropical Diseases & Epidemiology. He also holds an MBA (ESSEC).

Before arriving at MSH, he was the Head of Global Health and Healthcare at the World Economic Forum in Geneva (2008-2014) where he worked extensively on economic policy and cross-industry aspects of health to address the transformation of health and care through projects and initiatives on health data, digital health, innovative delivery models, healthy living for the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and scenario/strategies for the financial sustainability of health systems. He designed and organized the health agenda for five consecutive Davos annual meetings.

Before joining the World Economic Forum, Raynaud spent most of his career at Sanofi Pasteur, a world leader in vaccines, where he held several positions in Global Medical, Marketing and Business Operations in Europe, then in Asia (based in Hong Kong) as Head of Greater China, then in Latin America (based in Argentina). During his last four years with Sanofi, he was Vice-President in charge of Africa.

Dr Olivier Raynaud and his wife, Véronique, have three grown children. They reside in Lyon, France but will soon move to Washington DC.
