MSH Appoints Larousse Céus as Acting Country Representative in Haiti
Medford, MA — Global health NGO Management Sciences for Health (MSH) announced today the appointment of Mr. Larousse Céus as Acting Country Representative in Haiti. Mr. Céus is a seasoned management, operations, and public health professional with more than 20 years of experience in international NGO management. Based in MSH's Port-au-Prince office, Mr. Céus is responsible for leading and coordinating all MSH efforts in Haiti by working in partnership with key in-country stakeholders, such as donors, government officials, clients, and other partner organizations.

"Larousse has been a key member of our team in Haiti, and I'm confident that his leadership and keen understanding of the local environment will help MSH and its partners fulfill their common goal of saving lives and improving the health of the country's most vulnerable populations."
Before joining MSH, Mr. Céus worked as Deputy Chief of Party for the Organization of American States (OAS) and served as the Country Director for World Hope International, Haiti. Mr. Céus has successfully led USAID-funded initiatives. He has multi-country experience, having led development program implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and finance and administration activities for more than 20 years. Mr. Céus has also worked for the private sector and for Care International Haiti. He has degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from the Haitian State University (UEH).
MSH has been working in Haiti since 1980 and continues to help all levels of the health system develop effective and efficient ways to address the needs of the Haitian people. MSH Haiti staff members, most of whom are Haitian, work throughout the country. MSH improves the capacity of local partners to lead, manage, and govern their organizations efficiently and effectively to improve organizational sustainability and enhance health services and outcomes. MSH's activities range from strengthening the leadership and management skills of Haiti's Ministry of Public Health and Population to delivering quality family planning services to training local NGOs on human resource management, information systems, performance-based financing, and supply chain management.
