May 17: MSH Hosts Leadership and Management Conference
On May 17, 2010, MSH and the United States Agency for International Development are presenting the Leadership, Management and Sustainability: Strengthening Health Systems, Achieving Public Health Results end-of-project conference in Washington, DC.
The conference will highlight the Leadership, Management and Sustainability Program’s work in the field with participants from Afghanistan, Côte d’Ivoire, Guatemala, Haiti, Kenya, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, and Peru, along with our partner ADRA International.
Presentations will include, “Achieving Results at Scale: the Power of Virtual Learning,” “Sustaining Governance of the Global Fund Country Coordinating Mechanisms,” and “Against All Odds: Leadership on Every Level in Haiti.”
The day’s highlights will also include the launch of the new MSH electronic publication Health Systems in Action: an eHandbook for Leaders and Managers. A virtual tour of the handbook will demonstrate how this resource can be used by health managers around the world.
