A Toast to Health Systems Heroes Tuesday, September 20, 2016 | 6:00-8:30 PM  Riverpark | 450 E 29th St. New York, NY 10016 Join us as we honor the people who inspire us—those working at all levels of the health system to save lives and improve the health of millions. Hosted by international journalist and television personality Femi Oke, this cocktail reception will celebrate those health heroes working with governments, the private sector, and civil society to build stronger health systems and work toward a world where everyone has the opportunity for a healthy life.

More than 20 MSH staff members will be participating in the 21st International AIDS Conference held July 18-22 in Durban, South Africa. MSH will present 15 posters and 2 oral presentations.

Girls are among the most marginalized and vulnerable, and reaching our shared goal of ending preventable maternal, newborn and child deaths within a generation will require international and national commitments. Local ownership and accountability at all levels of government is required to fully address gender inequality and ensure that every girl has the services and resources she needs.
