MSH Training Enables Pharmacists to Manage HIV & AIDS Medicines

MSH works with schools of pharmacy around the world to train future pharmacists. The support provided to four universities in Ethiopia in 2008 included annual week-long sessions on supply management of antiretrovirals and antiretroviral therapy (ART) to graduating pharmacy students. This training readies them for work at ART facilities as soon as they leave school. In 2008, 363 students attended the training.
